Thoracic surgeon Daniela Molena leads clinical trials to improve outcomes for people with esophageal cancers.
At any time Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is conducting hundreds of clinical trials to improve care for many types of cancer. Use the tool below to browse our clinical trials that are currently enrolling new patients. Each listing explains the purpose of the trial, the trial’s eligibility criteria, and how to get more information.
The list below includes clinical trials for adult cancers. Please visit our pediatric cancer care section to find a pediatric clinical trial.
Researchers want to find the best dose of TERN-701 to use in people with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). The people in this study have CML that came back after treatment or could not be treated with standard therapies.
A mutation called G12C in a gene called KRAS may promote cancer growth. LY3537982 is an investigational drug that targets the mutated KRAS G12C protein. This targeting action may stop cancer cells from growing and dividing.
Normally when people have B-cell lymphoma that is not in complete remission, they do not immediately have another treatment. They have observation. That means their doctor closely monitors their disease with imaging tests to see if their disease is improving or worsening. If their disease gets worse, they may receive more treatment.
The usual approach to managing HPV-related oropharynx cancer in people whose tumors have a higher risk of coming back after surgery is to use radiation therapy to prevent tumor relapse. However, not all patients have tumors that come back after surgery, and many may not need radiation therapy at all, or only need it later when there are early signs of the cancer coming back.
The combination of radiation therapy and chemotherapy (chemoradiation) is a standard treatment for people with HPV-positive throat cancer. HPV is human papillomavirus and can cause throat cancer. Standard chemoradiation may cause severe side effects such as mouth and gut sores, sore throat, and changes in taste.
Researchers want to find the best doses of different drugs to use together in people with advanced urothelial cancer. The people in this study have urothelial cancer that metastasized (spread) and has not yet been treated.
Researchers want to learn if canakinumab can prevent cancer from developing in people with clonal cytopenia of undetermined significance (CCUS). In CCUS, there is a mutation (change) in one or more of the genes that help blood cells develop. People with CCUS have low levels of certain kinds of blood cells.
Venetoclax blocks Bcl-2, a protein that helps cancer cells survive and resist the effects of anti-cancer treatments. By blocking Bcl-2, venetoclax may cause the death of cancer cells or make them more sensitive to other treatments. It is taken orally (by mouth).
Anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) is a type of T-cell cancer. This cancer has a fusion (change) in the ALK gene. The fusion gene makes a protein that promotes cancer growth and survival. This type of cancer is called ALK-positive ALCL.
