Get to Know Me

I’m a nuclear medicine doctor who is an expert in molecular imaging and targeted radionuclide therapy for cancer care. I use small amounts of radioactive material to find and treat cancer. I see patients at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Imaging Center.

My work includes treatments that are already part of cancer care. I also study new treatments through clinical trials.

I use imaging tools, such as PET and CT scans, to learn more about each person’s cancer. These scans show where the cancer is and can help guide treatment choices.

I focus especially on prostate cancer and neuroendocrine tumors, which are cancers that start in cells that make hormones. For these cancers, I use an approach called theranostics. Theranostics uses one substance to find cancer and a similar substance to treat it.

My research aims to make these treatments work better and target tumors more precisely. I also study new radioligands and radioactive elements that may improve cancer treatment.
