About Me
- Director, Pediatric Radiology, Body Imaging Service
I have been a pediatric radiologist for more than 30 years and a member of the MSK Kids team since 2006. I have special training in interpreting radiologic studies of children of all ages, from newborns to young adults. Radiology uses X-ray, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, PET, ultrasound, and other imaging to see inside the body. These studies help doctors diagnose and treat disease. I am board-certified to practice diagnostic radiology, and I have subspecialty certification in pediatric radiology.
Along with the other members of the Pediatric Disease Management Team, I care for children and young adults with cancer. I specialize in pediatric cancers that are not part of the central nervous system. Our goal is to develop innovative and cutting-edge treatments that help patients live longer, better lives.

In addition to caring for patients, I am an investigator on more than 20 clinical trials. These studies are very important for improving cancer care. I also teach residents and fellows in the Departments of Radiology, Pediatrics, and Surgery, at both MSK and Weill Cornell Medicine. Guiding the next generation of talented doctors and physician-scientists is especially fulfilling.
Working at MSK is extremely gratifying. I am proud to care for children with cancer in a place that combines excellent patient care, world-class medical knowledge, pioneering research, and state-of-the-art imaging facilities. I feel that MSK provides the ideal environment for patients and their families.
A pediatric radiologist is a doctor with special training in using imaging to diagnose and treat children and adolescents. Imaging includes X-rays, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
