Get to Know Me

I’m a board-certified medical oncologist who is an expert in caring for people with all types of breast cancer. I see patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) Commack on Long Island.

When I meet with you, I aim to tailor care to your specific medical needs and personal values. The cancer care journey can be complex, and I believe in being a strong advocate for you at every step. I work to build trusting relationships with you and your family.

Just before I started medical school, I lost a family member to breast cancer. This motivated me to build a career in breast cancer care. I have always been passionate about the science and biology of cancer. At the same time, I recognize the impact a cancer diagnosis can have not only on the patient, but the entire family.

Besides seeing patients, I engage in research. Being a part of translational research allows me to bring the latest scientific discoveries to my patients. It also allows me to constantly challenge the standard of care.

I am studying new immunotherapies for breast cancer. These are treatments that use the body’s own immune system to fight cancer cells. I also focus on triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and have been expanding research for this specific type of invasive breast cancer.

Working on new research based on the needs of our patients has been an exciting part of my career.
