Get to Know Me

I am a board-certified anesthesiologist who sees patients at Memorial Hospital in New York City. I specialize in enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols, which are care pathways designed to enhance and speed up recovery after surgery. In addition, I am an expert in opioid-sparing pain management techniques and medications, and regional anesthesia, which includes peripheral, spinal, and epidural nerve blocks for pain management.

I also specialize in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) management in the operating room, and fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided interventional chronic pain management.

I am currently pursuing a third and fourth board certification in headache medicine, and lifestyle and functional medicine.  Outside of work, I enjoy distance running. I am working on becoming a Six Star Finisher, which is a runner who has completed all six of the World Marathon Majors.

What I Do at MSK

I'm an anesthesiologist at MSK. An anesthesiologist (a-nes-THEE-zee-AH-loh-jist) is a doctor with special training in medicine to make you drowsy or sleep during your surgery or procedure. They monitor your vital signs while you're asleep.
