I’m a medical oncologist and early drug development specialist who has special training in treating head and neck cancers. This includes the following types of cancer:

I see patients at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in New York City, and at MSK Monmouth in New Jersey.

I treat people using the latest treatments in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies. I work closely with a team of different experts that include surgeons, radiation oncologists, dentists, speech and swallow therapists, and nutritionists. I make sure each patient receives a coordinated treatment plan that best meets their personal goals and helps them get the best results. 

I became a doctor because I wanted to help guide people through complex health decisions. I was especially drawn to head and neck cancers because they affect how we speak, eat, breathe, and affect nearly every part of a person’s daily life. 

When you meet with me, I will take the time to listen carefully and explain things in clear, simple language. Head and neck cancers and their treatments are complicated, and I believe no one should feel rushed or confused about their options. My goal is not only to treat the cancer but also consider quality of life and make decisions based on what matters most to you.

I am also focused on researching new and better ways to treat head and neck cancer. I am engaged in clinical trials that test new treatments or combinations of existing treatments. I want to bring the latest scientific discoveries to my patients as quickly and safely as possible.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking. I play the viola and I am a self-taught violin maker. I am fascinated by how natural materials can be brought to life through careful listening and thoughtful construction. This also inspires my approach as a doctor – listening closely to each patient’s story to provide the best possible care.

I'm an early drug development specialist, which is a scientist who tests new drugs to treat cancer. I have special training in research studies, also known as clinical trials.

I'm a head and neck medical oncologist, which is a cancer doctor who specializes in head and neck cancers. This includes cancers of the tonsils, tongue, mouth, lips, larynx, nose, sinuses, salivary glands, and thyroid gland.
