Get to Know Me
I’m a radiation oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). I’m an expert in using radiation therapy to treat head and neck cancers, central nervous system tumors, prostate cancer, and metastatic disease (cancer that has spread to other parts of the body).
I see patients at the MSK Bergen location in New Jersey. Caring for patients and their families during some of life’s most challenging moments is a privilege. I strive to provide every patient with the same thoughtful care that I would want for my own loved ones. I work with you to draw up a treatment plan based on actual data, and which is suited to your specific needs. I take the time to listen, answer questions, and make decisions together.
I’m originally from the Philippines and Canada. I received my bachelor’s degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University and my MD from Harvard Medical School. I completed my residency in radiation oncology at MSK.
My research spans health systems science, global oncology, and clinical trials in radiation oncology. I also conduct clinical research focusing on improving the care of patients with cancers of the head and neck, brain, or prostate, and metastatic disease. My goal is to improve access to high-quality cancer care, develop new applications for radiation therapy, and reduce the side effects of cancer treatment.
I'm a radiation oncologist, which is a cancer doctor with special training in using radiation therapy (RT) to treat cancer.
