About Me

As a hospitalist, I specialize in comprehensive medical care for people with cancer who are hospitalized at Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Memorial Hospital.

People with cancer often face complications from their disease and its treatment or have other medical conditions such as heart disease, which may lead to hospitalization. While they are in the hospital, I, along with my colleagues, formulate a comprehensive patient-centered care plan. This plan includes coordinated care with their oncologist and is designed to help them recover quickly and feel comfortable during their stay in the hospital.

In addition to providing patient care, I am interested in initiatives that improve the quality of the full spectrum of care delivered to hospitalized patients. I also supervise and teach medical residents who are training at Memorial Hospital.

Clinical Trials

Currently, clinical trials focused on the conditions I treat are enrolling new patients. Most major health insurers offer plans that include MSK as one of their in-network providers. If MSK is in-network, it means all our doctors are too. Medicaid and New York State Medicare also provide benefits for care at MSK.
