Get to Know Me

I’m a board-certified anatomic pathologist. I help diagnose diseases by studying tissue samples under a microscope. I have special training in diseases of the digestive system, which includes:

  • Stomach and intestines (gastrointestinal)
  • Liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts (hepatobiliary)
  • Pancreas

My research focuses on liver cancer, bile duct cancer, and colorectal cancer. My goal is to find specific changes in the cancer’s DNA that can be treated with targeted therapies. These are a type of cancer treatment that precisely target cancer cells while leaving healthy cells alone.

What I Do at MSK

I'm a pathologist, which is a doctor who uses a microscope to make a diagnosis from cell and tissue samples. I analyze these samples to learn the cause and effects of a health issue.
