Jodi V. Mones, MD

About Me

I am a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with a specific interest in benign hematology. My expertise is in consultative hematology – including cancer-related complications – and general hematology. I work closely with medical oncologists, surgeons, and other providers at Memorial Sloan Kettering to create a multidisciplinary approach for each individual patient. I provide hematology consultation for disorders related to cancer, such as thrombosis, bleeding disorders, chemotherapy-induced cytopenias – anemia, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia – and inherited disorders of bleeding and thrombosis. In addition to my clinical work, I contribute to the education and training of MSK staff and fellows.

Clinical Trials

As home to one of the world’s top cancer research centers, Memorial Sloan Kettering is typically involved in more than 900 clinical trials at a given time. Currently, clinical trials focused on the conditions I treat are enrolling new patients. Most major health insurers offer plans that include MSK as one of their in-network providers. If MSK is in-network, it means all our doctors are too. Medicaid and New York State Medicare also provide benefits for care at MSK.
