I am a board-certified medical oncologist who treats patients with a variety of solid cancers. I have special expertise and interest in lung and head and neck cancers. I am also a member of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s thoracic disease management team and actively participate in conferences with other MSK experts in these fields.

I joined the medical team at MSK Rockville Centre as a full-time member in 2000 and transitioned to MSK Nassau when it opened in 2019. Before joining the Regional Care Network, I was an attending physician at MSK’s location in Manhattan. I served as Medical Director of MSK Rockville Centre to help ensure that the same high-quality cancer care is offered at all of MSK’s treatment locations.

My colleagues at MSK Nassau and I offer a multidisciplinary approach using the most recent advances in medical and radiation oncology, including state-of-the-art chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy, with access to all the resources and expertise of MSK.

Among the advanced-care options for lung and head and neck cancers, we offer an innovative combined-modality treatment that includes chemotherapy plus radiation. I work collaboratively with my colleagues in radiation oncology to provide this definitive treatment, which may enable patients to avoid radical, appearance-altering surgery.

Like our all of colleagues at MSK, we tailor cancer therapy to each patient using special analyses that test tumor tissue for specific genetic mutations. The results of these molecular tests help us determine which targeted therapies are likely to be most effective for each patient.

As part of our research efforts, we are actively enrolling patients in a growing number of clinical trials. In addition, we offer a warm, intimate environment in which doctors and nurses interact with support staff and local physicians to take care of the medical, social, nutritional, and psychological needs of our patients.

Doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering work as teams, with specialists from all different areas. This allows us to consider all your needs together, and to give you the best possible care.
