Get to Know Me
I’m a leukemia specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). I focus on caring for people with acute and chronic leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. I see patients at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at MSK in New York City and at MSK Bergen in New Jersey.
My goal is to partner with each person and their family to learn about their diagnosis and their treatment goals. When I meet with you, we will discuss your questions and concerns and work together to develop a cancer care plan that is just right for you. I work to build strong relationships with my patients and their families to provide the best possible support during this time.
I also lead research on new treatment approaches for leukemia, and my goal is to improve treatment results and the patient experience. I am especially interested in clinical trials that test new drugs for those with high-risk leukemias. I work closely with our excellent teams in both clinical care and research to provide the best possible cancer treatment to each and every person.
I’m a leukemia specialist, which is a doctor with special training in diagnosing and treating leukemia (loo-KEE-mee-uh). This cancer starts in tissue that forms blood, such as bone marrow.
