Clinical and Anatomic Pathology
I am a physician who specializes in performing and interpreting laboratory tests on blood and other body fluids. I collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic and management plans that are tailored to each patient. Making precise diagnoses requires the synthesis of observations made at the microscope with interpretations of laboratory values in the context of each patient’s clinical condition. This diagnostic process is critical for diagnosing cancer, guiding treatment decisions, and monitoring interventional outcomes.
As Medical Director of our clinical laboratories at MSK Commack and MSK Nassau I help bring the quality of MSK laboratory medicine to Long Island. My expertise is in laboratory hematology and hemostasis. Additionally, I have a special interest in developing clinical decision-making tools to facilitate diagnosing and monitoring our patients. Alongside my clinical laboratory colleagues, I ensure laboratory tests are accurate and provide meaningful information for patients and clinicians.

Memorial Sloan Kettering's doctors and scientists are constantly developing new treatments for cancer. MSK is typically running hundreds of clinical trials at a given time.
You may be able to participate in a clinical trial even if you are new to MSK. Search our online directory to find trial information and see more about who can participate.
Doctors and faculty members often work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of MSK, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community.
MSK requires doctors and faculty members to report (“disclose”) the relationships and financial interests they have with external entities. As a commitment to transparency with our community, we make that information available to the public.
