Mark Roschewski, MD
We post reviews for MSK healthcare providers who have at least 30 patient experience surveys completed. If you do not see reviews for a provider, it may be because they do not yet have enough survey responses, or the provider may not be part of the group of healthcare providers included in the survey.
Only outpatient providers are included in the survey. Healthcare providers who only work in the hospital or in urgent care are not included in the survey. Pathologists or researchers who do not provide direct care to patients do not have reviews.

Get to Know Me
I’m a hematologist-oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) who has special training in treating lymphoma. Lymphoma is a type of cancer that starts in the white blood cells that help the body fight infection.
I am an expert in treating aggressive B-cell lymphomas. This includes diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, Burkitt’s lymphoma, and lymphomas that have spread to the central nervous system. I see patients at Memorial Hospital, which is MSK’s main hospital, and at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at MSK.
Facing a cancer diagnosis requires making many important decisions. You need a team that offers support and empathy to help you navigate this difficult time. As a doctor, I combine expert medical knowledge with care that is focused on the patient.
I believe in open and honest communication. I help my patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options. We make decisions together based on your personal goals. My goal is to work with you to choose treatments that give the best results while reducing long-term side effects.
I also work on clinical trials for lymphoma. This keeps me up to date on the latest research. It also allows me to offer my patients newer treatments that might not be available at other hospitals.
I became a doctor because I value the special bond between a patient and their doctor. I started my career at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center as an active-duty physician. After serving on active duty for 12 years, I joined the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) and was part of the faculty at the National Cancer Institute until 2025. I retired from USPHS as a Captain in 2023.
My research focuses on blood tests that look for circulating tumor DNA, which is DNA shed from cancer cells into the blood. This helps us create more targeted therapies for patients.
Outside of work, I am a trained singer. I also enjoy playing golf and traveling with my family.
I'm a lymphoma specialist, which is a doctor with special training in diagnosing and treating lymphoma (lim-FOH-muh). This cancer starts in the cells of the immune system.

Disclosures
Members of the MSK Community often work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of MSK, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community. These activities outside of MSK further our mission, provide productive collaborations, and promote the practical application of scientific discoveries.
MSK requires doctors, faculty members, and leaders to report (“disclose”) the relationships and financial interests they have with external entities. As a commitment to transparency with our community, we make that information available to the public. Not all disclosed interests and relationships present conflicts of interest. MSK reviews all disclosed interests and relationships to assess whether a conflict of interest exists and whether formal COI management is needed.
Mark Roschewski discloses the following relationships and financial interests:
