Only outpatient providers are included in the survey. Healthcare providers who only work in the hospital or in urgent care are not included in the survey. Pathologists or researchers who do not provide direct care to patients do not have reviews.

About Me
- Chief, Transfusion Medicine and Cell Therapy Service
As Chief of the Transfusion Medicine and Cell Therapy Service, I work in partnership with our staff and clinical care team to provide our patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center the best care available anywhere. Our service collaborates with our clinical providers to help deliver care that is consistent with current evidence-based practice while considering and developing new and innovative therapies.

In the past several years, I have been actively involved in implementing new innovations in transfusion practice and safety. Our team has worked to enhance patient blood management practices for red blood cells that allow us to continue providing vital transfusions, even during critical blood shortages. We are also advancing the field with how we approach patients with special transfusion needs, particularly patients who require multiple transfusions and special blood products.
Our apheresis collections operation and cell therapy laboratory work together with our transplantation and cell therapy physicians to collect and manufacture cellular materials that treat and potentially cure cancer for life. We are also developing new therapies to treat cancers that may be difficult to manage through conventional treatment methods.
A pathologist is a doctor who uses a microscope to make a diagnosis from cell and tissue samples. They analyze the samples to learn the cause and effects of a health condition.
