About Me

I am a pathologist with more than ten years of experience in making diagnoses based on examination of tissue specimens (obtained from biopsies and surgery) and cytology specimens (fine-needle aspiration biopsies, pap smears, and body fluids). My pathology colleagues and I work closely with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal treatment for people with many types of cancer. My research efforts are focused on the pathology and molecular genetics of cancers, with emphasis on gynecologic tumors and melanoma.
