Get to Know Me

I am a radiologist who specializes in breast imaging and body imaging. I also perform breast interventional procedures such as breast biopsies and breast localization, a procedure performed to locate and mark abnormal breast tissue before breast cancer surgery or biopsy.

I see patients at the Bendheim Integrative Medicine Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Bergen, and MSK Ralph Lauren Center.

My primary role is to deliver timely and accurate diagnoses, which are crucial in guiding effective patient care and treatment. Every case is unique, and I understand that each diagnosis can be life changing. I strive to provide not only technical precision but also a sense of reliability and trust, and advocate for my patients’ well-being. My work isn’t just about interpreting images; it’s about being an integral part of a healthcare team that ultimately serves the patient’s best interests. By ensuring accuracy and promptness in my evaluations, I aim to be a dependable source of information for both patients and their referring physicians.

Patients often worry about their health or the unknown aspects of the tests themselves when they come in for imaging studies or interventional procedures. My goal is to alleviate this anxiety as much as possible, providing a calm and reassuring environment from the very first visit. Whether it’s through a gentle approach or clear communication, I do my best to make the process easier for the patient and to reassure them that they are in caring, capable hands.

Compassionate care is central to my practice. I believe that empathy is as essential to healthcare as technical expertise. While my role may primarily be to diagnose, I understand that showing kindness, answering questions, and offering emotional support can make a difference in how patients perceive and manage their health journey. This approach helps build trust and allows patients to feel more comfortable throughout the imaging or treatment process, knowing that they are respected as individuals with unique concerns.
