I am a board-certified medical oncologist at MSK Commack whose practice focuses on caring for patients with breast and gynecologic cancers. I work as part of a team to provide state-of-the-art care to our patients in a supportive environment close to home. I feel privileged to be part of our dedicated group of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and nurses. In my practice, I follow evidence-based principles and work with my patients to develop individualized treatment plans. In addition to the full range of standard therapies available to our patients, we have many clinical trials exploring the use of novel agents in the treatment of cancer.
I am interested in developing targeted therapies for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer. My research has focused on the use of kinase inhibitors in combination with other medications to more effectively block the molecular signals that drive the growth and survival of cancer cells. My work has been presented at local and national meetings.
