Get to Know Me

I’m a pathologist with special training in cytopathology, which involves examining cells and tissues under the microscope. I help diagnose diseases, especially cancer, from samples that are often obtained through minimally invasive or non-surgical procedures.

I also perform palpation or ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration biopsy of superficial lesions. This is a procedure that uses ultrasound imaging to guide a thin needle into a lump or mass to collect a sample of cells or fluid for testing.

At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, I work together with other experts to provide world-class care for our patients. My area of interest includes examining specimens from the salivary glands, pancreas, lung, and body fluids. 

What I Do at MSK

I'm a pathologist, which is a doctor who uses a microscope to make a diagnosis from cell and tissue samples. I analyze these samples to learn the cause and effects of a health issue.
