Get to Know Me

I am a radiation oncologist who specializes in the treatment of genitourinary cancers including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and kidney cancer using radiation therapy. I see patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Monmouth in New Jersey.

I began my career as a research scientist and during my postdoctoral fellowship, I studied ways in which cancer evades the immune system. During that time, I realized that I wanted to do more and ultimately decided to pursue my medical degree. In medical school, my engineering and technical background led me to the field of radiation oncology. 

During my career, I have been committed to the development and application of advanced radiation therapy techniques such as stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). This is a highly precise type of radiation therapy that delivers focused, high-dose radiation that kills the tumor or cancer cells in the body. Using SBRT, patients can receive cancer treatment with minimal impact on their quality of life. By leveraging technology, I strive to develop personalized treatments for each patient.

Typically, I see patients for the first time after they have received a cancer diagnosis. Often, they are confused and frightened by what they’ve either heard or read about the disease. It is my goal to explain everything in a way that is easily understandable, and to develop a plan together with them that meets their individual needs.

I was born and raised in New Jersey, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to provide advanced care to my community. When I’m not treating cancer, I enjoy spending time with family, being outside, cooking, fishing, and cheering for the New York Yankees and Jets.
