Surgery

I am a surgical oncologist who specializes in caring for women with breast cancer. I have particular expertise in performing nipple-sparing mastectomies for women with breast cancer and those who are at a high risk of developing the disease. I see patients at MSK Commack and MSK Nassau. At each location, I work closely with my colleagues in radiology, radiation oncology, and medical oncology. We ensure that every person we care for receives a cohesive treatment plan that is tailored to their life and their disease.

I was drawn to breast oncology because of my interest in advancing women’s health. I greatly value being able to develop relationships with and care for women who are facing a challenging period in their lives. Breast cancer and its treatments affect a woman’s health and can also affect her body image. Because of advancements in treatment options, we are able to cure many women while helping them to continue to look and feel like themselves.

Receiving a breast cancer diagnosis is difficult for women and their loved ones. As their doctor, I want all of my patients to feel that they have a solid understanding of their disease and treatment plan, and to know that I will be by their side throughout their entire journey.

As their doctor, I want all of my patients to feel that they have a solid understanding of their disease and treatment plan, and to know that I will be by their side throughout their entire journey.
