Get to Know Me

I am a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in abdominal and body imaging. I am also a board-certified nuclear medicine physician with fellowship training in PET-CT and nuclear oncology, a field of medicine that uses radioactive drugs to treat cancer.

As a member of the genitourinary disease management team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, I collaborate with clinicians with the goal of improving patient care. My research interests include developing new criteria for measuring treatment response, imaging for multiple myeloma and melanoma, as well as hybrid imaging technologies such as PET-CT and PET-MRI.

I currently serve as radiology chair and an imaging expert for several national and international trials fora variety of cancer types. My approach to patient care and academic education is to always deliver the best quality; I steadfastly avoid taking short cuts. I believe that recognizing the human element behind medical images is crucial for compassionate and accurate interpretation, especially in the era of artificial intelligence.
