I am an experienced, board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in pediatric critical care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). I specialize in caring for children at MSK who are admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or who are scheduled to have surgery and/or a bone marrow transplant (BMT).
As an advanced practice provider (APP), I assess, diagnose, and treat children who have neuroblastoma, leukemia, lymphoma, and certain sarcomas, kidney tumors, and cancers of the brain and eyes. I also care for adults who are admitted to MSK for a BMT.
I believe in fostering a trusting and supportive relationship with my patients and their families. My priority is on clinical education, preventative care, and empowering families to actively participate in the well-being of their child.
My research interests include:
- Exploring new surgical approaches to reduce long-term complications.
- Decreasing the risk of treatment side effects to the heart and lung.
- Improving the delivery of critical care for pediatric patients with cancer.
Beyond my responsibilities at MSK, I participate in community outreach programs, advocate for pediatric health issues, and promote health education initiatives.
In my spare time, I love playing tennis, surfing, skiing, and joining various running clubs in the city.
