When you sign up for text messages from MSK and physician practices of MSK physicians such as Memorial Medical Care, P.C. (together, “MSK”), you are signing up to receive text messages related to your relationship with MSK, including updates related to your visits, MSK MyChart account, one-time passcode, billing notifications, prescription reminders, and care management.  Our text messages may include the name of MSK and may include the date, time, and location of an appointment, and doctor’s name. They also may have a link to MSK MyChart where you can join telehealth visits, and view test results and other information.

Text messages are not a secure way to communicate. That means there’s a small risk that the text message could be read or accessed by someone else while it’s being sent. Text messages can also be seen by anyone who has access to your mobile phone, including if it’s lost or stolen.

You can opt-out of SMS messages from MSK by texting STOP to any message.  Your opt-out request will generate one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive SMS messages from the number you opted out from. If you want to join again, text START to the same number, or sign up using MSK MyChart. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at 646-227-2593.

Your cellular carrier may also charge you standard message and data rates for texts from MSK.
