
Rosario Costas Muniz, PhD, is an assistant attending in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Her primary research and clinical focus is to understand, develop, and adapt interventions to reduce health disparities in cancer treatment adherence and psychosocial outcomes of Latinos with cancer. Dr. Costas Muniz is investigating how culture, ethnicity, and psychological and contextual factors influence the physical and mental health outcomes of cancer patients and their families.
