As one of the world’s most respected comprehensive centers devoted exclusively to cancer, MSK has devoted more than 135 years to exceptional patient care, influential educational programs, and innovative research to discover more effective strategies to prevent, control and, ultimately, cure cancer. The institution is home to an exceptional community of researchers, clinicians, and digital health professionals and it is committed to advancing the care and treatment of cancer through digital health and life sciences innovation.
MSK Innovation Hub was launched in 2020 to connect the institution with innovative, digitally focused health technology companies. This accelerator program aims to accelerate the development of digital technologies that will make an impact on the healthcare and quality of life of people with cancer. It accepts applicants on a rolling basis. There are currently eight ongoing collaborations.
From applications to cutting-edge collaborations: Open to applications from digital health startups as well as larger and more mature corporations, MSK Innovation Hub selects participants through a process that identifies exceptionally promising healthcare projects, aligned with MSK’s strategic priorities in digital health, originating from non-competitive third parties.
MSK aims to jump-start the innovation process by providing select projects with in-kind support through access to a real-world oncology research and clinical care environment, including all the physical, intellectual, and digital assets that this encompasses. Industry participants retain the lead on commercialization efforts. MSK support does not include financial resources.
