LeeAnn is a medical student at the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine. She graduated from Cornell University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology, Health, and Society. During her three gap years before medical school, LeeAnn worked in clinical research at MSK in the Adult Bone Marrow Transplant service and in the van den Brink Lab. LeeAnn has interests in data science, the gut microbiome, and stem cell transplantation. In the Peled Lab, LeeAnn is investigating the role of the gut microbiome in the development of Graft-vs-Host Disease (GVHD).
