I’m a nurse practitioner working in the outpatient Functional and Reconstructive Urology Service. Throughout my career, I have focused on urology, and caring for people diagnosed with urological cancers such as bladder cancer, kidney cancer, and prostate cancer.
My work begins at the time of diagnosis and continues through treatment. As part of my clinical work in Functional Urology, I evaluate people with voiding concerns. I see patients at MSK’s Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers in New York City.
I have also worked with the Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine Program at MSK. In this role, I provided personal care for people who had a prostatectomy and were going through penile rehabilitation following cancer treatment.
I also contribute to the urology survivorship service, where I follow up with patients who have completed their treatments. As part of survivorship, I advocate for health maintenance and promoting healthy behaviors. I also encourage patients to get screened for other cancers and monitoring for cancer that may return.
