Thoracic surgeon Daniela Molena leads clinical trials to improve outcomes for people with esophageal cancers.
At any time Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is conducting hundreds of clinical trials to improve care for many types of cancer. Use the tool below to browse our clinical trials that are currently enrolling new patients. Each listing explains the purpose of the trial, the trial’s eligibility criteria, and how to get more information.
The list below includes clinical trials for adult cancers. Please visit our pediatric cancer care section to find a pediatric clinical trial.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of partial breast radiation therapy given over a three-day period (three weekdays in a row) in women with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) or early-stage invasive breast cancer after lumpectomy. Women who are not in a research study usually receive radiation therapy to the whole breast over three weeks or receive partial breast irradiation over a five- to ten-day period.
Researchers want to find the best dose of [AC-225]RTX-2358 to use safely in people with advanced sarcoma. The people in this study have sarcoma that has come back or keeps growing after treatment.
Researchers are assessing the combination of teclistamab and mezigdomide to treat multiple myeloma. The people in this study have multiple myeloma that came back or keeps growing after treatment.
Researchers want to find the best dose of JNJ-79635322 to use in people with multiple myeloma or AL amyloidosis. The people in this study have multiple myeloma or AL amyloidosis that keeps growing even after treatment. Multiple myeloma is a cancer of the bone marrow. AL amyloidosis happens when a protein called amyloid builds up in organs and prevents them from working properly.
Researchers want to see how much the drug trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) can get into brain tumors. The people in this study have glioblastoma or cancer that spread to the brain from other parts of the body. They are scheduled to have brain tumor surgery. In addition, their tumors express (make) a protein called HER2, which boosts cancer cell growth. Researchers want to know if T-DXd may be an effective treatment for brain cancers that express the HER2 protein.
Liver stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (L-SABR) is a standard treatment that uses radiation therapy to target tumors that have spread to the liver while limiting the radiation dose to surrounding organs. L-SABR may also boost the immune response.
Researchers want to find the best dose of elranatamab when given with carfilzomib and dexamethasone or PF-07901801 in people with multiple myeloma. The people in this study have multiple myeloma that keeps growing or came back after treatment.
The purpose of this research study is to understand more about smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM). SMM is multiple myeloma that is not yet causing symptoms. It is usually not treated unless it causes symptoms.
Researchers want to learn if BGB-11417 given alone or with dexamethasone and carfilzomib may help people with multiple myeloma. The people in this study have multiple myeloma that keeps growing after standard treatment. BGB-11417 blocks a protein called Bcl-2 that helps multiple myeloma cells to live and grow.
Researchers in this study are assessing the combination of enfortumab vedotin with pembrolizumab immunotherapy in people with bladder cancer that has spread to nearby lymph nodes and will be surgically removed. Both medications are already used to treat bladder cancer, but their use together before surgery is considered investigational. Both drugs help the immune system attack and kill cancer cells. The study investigators will see if this combination treatment can get rid of cancer in the lymph nodes and shrink patients' tumors before surgery.
