I’m a nurse practitioner (NP) with 7 years of experience in lymphoma and integrative medicine and wellness. I care for patients at the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

I help people who are dealing with side effects of cancer and its treatment. To help them improve their health and manage symptoms, I use approaches that involve physical, mental, or lifestyle habits rather than medication.

These symptoms often include pain, fatigue, trouble sleeping, stress, and anxiety. My role is to support the whole person, along with the treatment your medical team is providing.

I have been a reiki practitioner for almost 30 years and have a certificate in nutrition and healthy living from Cornell University.  I’m also trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). This is a program that uses meditation and breathing exercises to help lower stress.

When patients meet with me, they are often concerned about what they can and cannot do while on treatment. They also want to know what they should do once treatment is complete. Some common questions that I hear from my patients are: Can I take supplements with my treatment? What should I be eating right now? What should I avoid?

I take the time to listen to your concerns and build a plan to help address them. I also explain what the research does and does not show, so you can make choices you feel comfortable with. It’s important to me that patients feel heard after meeting with me.

I chose a career in healthcare because I want to make a difference in people’s lives. When I work with patients, I want to provide a safe and grounded space.

When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, and spending time with family and my cats.
