Get to Know Me
I am a board-certified psychiatrist, who specializes in helping people cope with the mental and emotional challenges of cancer.
I work with patients at all stages of their cancer journey to address the emotional and physical problems that can arise during diagnosis and treatment. Together, we will explore your psychiatric needs during this difficult time. This can include managing adjustment to illness, depression, anxiety, fatigue, cognitive changes, sleep disturbances, and existential distress.
I care for people with all types of cancer, but I specialize in helping people who are receiving a bone marrow transplant. I will work closely with your cancer doctors to support them before, during, and after transplant.
I'm a psychiatrist (sy-KY-uh-trist), which is a doctor with special training in mental, emotional, and behavioral health. I can prescribe medicine to help with these issues.
