I am a medical oncologist who specializes in treating head and neck cancers and thyroid cancers. I have extensive experience managing the care of people receiving standard treatments like chemotherapy and radiation therapy, as well as advanced therapies such as immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
My practice is located at MSK Westchester and MSK Bergen. I value the opportunity to build long-term relationships with my patients and their families.

I believe that it is very important for people to be near their homes and communities when they are going through the challenges of cancer treatment. Being close to their personal support networks, in addition to their doctors and nurses, is crucial. I am excited to provide the excellent care MSK is known for, in my patients’ neighborhoods.
At MSK, we are able to offer our patients the most advanced types of treatments. More and more, we are able to incorporate immunotherapy into care plans for people with head and neck cancers. For people whose cancer is related to the human papilloma virus, we are looking at ways of delivering less-intense treatments that are just as effective. Our goal is to create personalized plans that will treat our patients’ disease while helping them maintain their quality of life.
Patients and their loved ones often express concern regarding what treatment will entail. I am honest and explain that they may face difficult times, but I also remind them that I will support them each step of the way.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, experiencing different cuisines, learning languages, and reading novels.
A head and neck oncologist is a cancer doctor with special training in head and neck cancers. This includes cancers of the larynx, lips, mouth, nose, salivary glands, and throat.
