Get to Know Me

I’m a hematologist-oncologist with special training in the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). I also treat people for Richter Transformation, a rare complication where chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) turns into an aggressive lymphoma.

I see patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Basking Ridge in New Jersey. I work closely with each patient to develop a care plan that fits their specific goals, preferences, and lifestyle. My approach combines compassion with the latest scientific research, including access to new clinical trials.

A big part of my work involves clinical trials that explore promising new ways to treat blood cancers. These studies help us improve treatment results and give patients more options, especially when standard treatments may not be enough. I take the time to clearly explain the potential benefits and side effects of each treatment. This helps my patients make informed decisions about their care.

My passion for cancer care and research is personal, and my experience fuels my dedication for helping others affected by cancer. I strongly believe in educating patients and their families about the nature of their disease, what to expect, and how we can manage the road ahead together. Every patient’s journey is unique, and I aim to offer both excellent care and genuine support.

Outside of work, I’m a busy mom of two, and I cherish the time I spend with my family. Whether we’re traveling together or enjoying a quiet family movie night, those moments keep me grounded and remind me why this work matters so much.

I’m a leukemia specialist, which is a doctor with special training in diagnosing and treating leukemia (loo-KEE-mee-uh). This cancer starts in tissue that forms blood, such as bone marrow.
