Get to Know Me

I am a radiation oncologist and medical oncologist focused on treating people with genitourinary cancers. This includes bladder cancer and prostate cancer. I see patients at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and at Memorial Hospital, which is MSK’s main hospital.

I am one of the few doctors in the United States who is trained in both radiation oncology and medical oncology. This allows me to be a single stop for patients who need both medical therapies and radiation therapy. I focus on combining these treatments to get the best possible treatment results while reducing side effects and improving quality of life. Using a personal approach, I treat each patient with the best possible therapies for them rather than focusing on a single treatment type.

I am also an expert in organ preservation for patients with prostate and bladder cancer. This means that I work to find treatments that destroy the cancer while keeping your bladder or prostate to help you maintain your quality of life. I also treat advanced stage prostate and bladder cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.

A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming and scary. When I meet with you and your family, I take the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment options. I partner with you to make the treatment choices that are best for you.

In addition to seeing patients, I also engage in research. I study the latest scientific advances and focus on how we can use treatments such as immunotherapy, targeted treatments, and hormonal therapy along with radiation. I am committed to using the newest, most effective tools to give you the best possible care.
