I am a board-certified internist and medical oncologist with special expertise in treating patients with head and neck cancer and genitourinary cancers, including bladder, prostate, kidney, and testicular cancers. I am a regular and active participant in multidisciplinary disease management team (DMT) conferences with colleagues who treat these diseases at Memorial Sloan Kettering’s main campus in Manhattan.
After fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering and caring for patients at the Center’s facilities in Manhattan and Long Island, I moved to the Basking Ridge site in 2007 as Chief of Medical Oncology for that facility. I work closely with my colleagues in Manhattan, ensuring that the care we provide at Basking Ridge is consistent with Memorial Sloan Kettering’s high standard. My goal is to provide state-of-the-art, compassionate care to all our patients at Basking Ridge.
Many cancers are now treated primarily with combined modalities such as radiation and surgery, along with chemotherapy. We have a very strong team of surgeons and radiation oncologists at Basking Ridge, and I work with these experts to provide patients with cutting-edge, individualized treatmnts. These may include genetic testing and biological, targeted, and monoclonal antibody therapies. We also offer an incresing number of clinical trials at Basking Ridge and can facilitate patients’ entry into trials that are open only at the Center’s main campus, if appropriate.
The Basking Ridge staff also includes a social worker and nutritionist, and together we provide comprehensive cancer care in a friendly environment to patients who would like to receive high-quality care close to home.
I am fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.

Research is integral to our mission at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and clinical trials help us discover better forms of patient care and treatment. For you, this could mean access to a new therapy or therapy combination. Click to see a list of the trials I’m currently leading.

Most major health insurers offer plans that include MSK as one of their in-network providers. If MSK is in-network, it means all our doctors are too. Medicaid and New York State Medicare also provide benefits for care at MSK.Learn more
