Get to Know Me
I’m an optometrist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) who specializes in caring for people with eye cancer and those who may experience changes to their vision or eye health during treatment. I see patients at Memorial Hospital, which is MSK’s main hospital, and also at the Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion in New York City.
My work focuses on making sure your eyes are as healthy and comfortable as possible throughout diagnosis and treatment for cancer. In addition to prescribing glasses and contact lenses, I specialize in managing and treating eye-related side effects that can come from cancer treatments, as well as caring for patients with ocular (eye) tumors.
I believe in a personalized approach to care. I work closely with each person to understand their concerns and take the time to explain the options to relieve discomfort. My goal is for you to feel heard and to be an active part of creating a treatment plan that’s right for you. I want you to be able to focus on your main therapy and recovery, knowing that your eye care is in good hands.
Before joining MSK, I was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the SUNY College of Optometry, where I instructed and supervised other optometrists and students in various ocular disease clinics.
I also frequently lecture on a variety of topics, including ocular surface disease and the effects of various systemic conditions on the eye. This work allows me to stay at the forefront of the field and provide the most up-to-date care to my patients.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.
I'm an optometrist, which is a doctor with special training in eye diseases and vision problems. I also do routine eye exams.
