Get to Know Me
I am a board-certified pathologist who specializes in hematopathology and molecular pathology. My work involves reviewing and analyzing biopsy samples collected from patients to help diagnose and monitor diseases such as plasma cell disorders, leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloid disorders.
We use a variety of tests and techniques, including morphology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, molecular testing, and cytogenetic testing, to analyze samples and generate diagnostic reports, which help our colleagues in hematology and medical oncology provide the best patient care.
My research has focused on the development and implementation of new biomarkers of disease and new assays, for use in translational research and clinical testing.
I'm a pathologist, which is a doctor who uses a microscope to make a diagnosis from cell and tissue samples. I analyze these samples to learn the cause and effects of a health issue.
