Get to Know Me

I’m a board-certified medical oncologist who treats people with all types of breast cancer. This includes:

  • HER2-positive breast cancer
  • Estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer (ER+)
  • Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC)

I am expert in the latest treatments for breast cancer, including chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, antibody therapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.

When appropriate, I also help my patients access and join clinical trials that provide them with new treatment options. Clinical trials are research studies that help test if a new treatment or approach is safe and works well.

I chose a career in medical oncology because it combines my passion for science with my commitment to caring for people. I find it rewarding to build meaningful, long-term relationships with my patients during a challenging time in their life. I make sure that you   feel informed about your diagnosis and confident about making decisions related to your care. I want you to feel genuinely supported at every step of your care.

I take a thoughtful and complete approach when creating treatment plans for my patients. I consider not only the medical aspects but also each person’s physical well-being, emotional health, personal values, and social support system. My priority is to provide the best care that reduces side effects and helps achieve the best results and quality of life for patients.

I will speak openly with you and involve you in decisions about your care. I want to make sure that you and your family feel heard, respected, and confident in the path forward. It is a true privilege to earn your trust and to walk with you through every stage of this journey.

Outside of the clinic, I am involved in the latest research and clinical trials with the goal of improving breast cancer treatment. I work closely with the different teams involved in your care to test new therapies and bring promising new options to you as early as possible.

Through this work, I aim to expand access to treatments and help shape more effective and personal approaches to care for our patients.

Disclosures

Members of the MSK Community often work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of MSK, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community. These activities outside of MSK further our mission, provide productive collaborations, and promote the practical application of scientific discoveries.

MSK requires doctors, faculty members, and leaders to report (“disclose”) the relationships and financial interests they have with external entities. As a commitment to transparency with our community, we make that information available to the public. Not all disclosed interests and relationships present conflicts of interest. MSK reviews all disclosed interests and relationships to assess whether a conflict of interest exists and whether formal COI management is needed.
