About Me

I am a dermatologist who specializes in caring for patients with cutaneous (skin) lymphoma. I also have expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and early-stage melanoma, as well as other rare forms of skin cancer.
During my fellowship training in cutaneous oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), I developed my interest and experience in managing cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (including mycosis fungoides and other subtypes) and B-cell lymphomas of the skin.

In my clinic, I have the privilege of partnering with medical oncologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, and other experts to provide our patients with comprehensive care. We effectively address their symptoms and pay close attention to their comfort, personal preferences, and quality of life. In addition to providing the best possible care, we offer promising novel therapies in clinical trials at MSK.
My research efforts study the incidence and prognosis of skin lymphoma in specific populations (ethnic, and elderly, and pediatric groups), as well as its association with other medical conditions and therapies. I am constantly looking for new ways to enhance how we diagnose cutaneous lymphoma. This includes understanding new prognostic factors (aspects that give us a sense of a patient’s outcome) that may be useful in patient care.
I am firmly committed to education by tutoring the next generation of dermatologists at MSK and by sharing my knowledge and experience with colleagues outside of MSK. I enjoy teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and students in the clinic and in research projects. I have served as an invited speaker at national and international dermatology meetings, and I am also the author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, three kids, and my dog. I like to travel, cook, and go camping.
