As a New York City native, I received my undergraduate education at Princeton University, attended medical school at Columbia University, and completed my orthopaedic surgery residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. I then received fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery and additional fellowship training in orthopaedic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

I am an Assistant Attending in orthopaedic surgery, and I specialize in the treatment of upper extremity bone and soft tissue tumors as well as limb salvage and reconstructive procedures. I also practice at Hospital for Special Surgery, specializing in orthopaedic conditions and trauma of the hand and upper extremity. My focus there is the treatment of hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow injuries as well as fractures, degenerative conditions and benign tumors.
My research interests include soft tissue sarcoma of the upper extremity, functional outcomes after upper extremity surgery, and immunotherapy as a potential treatment for chronic infections.
An orthopaedic (OR-thuh-PEE-dik) surgeon is a doctor with special training in surgery on the musculoskeletal system. This includes the bones, joints, tendons, and muscles.
