I am a nurse practitioner who has been practicing in oncology for over 20 years. I truly enjoy my work with people with cancer and their families. It has been amazing to see the advances in cancer treatments since I began working in this field. While I currently specialize in radiation oncology, I also have past experience in medical oncology and chemotherapy infusion which gives me the extra knowledge to help my patients with all aspects of their cancer care. I believe it is also important to recognize the psychosocial aspects of a cancer diagnosis. I hope that my patients feel that in addition to providing clinical guidance and expertise for their medical care, I am present with them and offer personalized care that addresses their needs. I want them to leave a visit with me feeling truly cared for.
