I am a nurse practitioner (NP) who cares for people with all types of cancer. I am a certified as an advanced hospice and palliative nurse. I care for and support patients admitted to Memorial Hospital and in the outpatient (clinic) setting at the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center.

I have worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in various roles since 2009 and continue to be committed to providing excellent care to patients and families.

It is my goal to get to know someone as both a patient and a person. When we meet, I not only ask questions about symptoms and pain management but also about their family and values. It is important to me that patients feel heard and understood so that they can get the best care possible, which is tailored to them.

I take the time to answer questions about medications and symptoms. I like to involve family members in visits, if possible, so that there is a forum for open communication. Supportive care is best provided when clinicians and patients align on a plan that meets a patient where they are and personalizes their care.

My interests include all types of care transitions, and I seek to strengthen relationships with community providers who can meet care needs at every phase of cancer treatment. I am involved in MSK’s efforts to improve access to supportive care services and educate other healthcare professionals about care transitions.

In addition to providing direct care to patients, I can be found on various neighborhood playgrounds with my two small children.
