I am an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Director at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). I work closely with different teams in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine and the Department of Radiology.
I joined MSK in 2009 as a nurse practitioner (NP) in the intensive care unit, providing care for people who were critically ill. Several years later, I became an APP Manager and have been an APP Director since 2019.
During my time as an NP, I have learned so much about providing care to people with cancer. I provide compassionate care that is based on actual data to people with cancer who are critically ill. I focus on caring for the whole person and not just the disease. It has been the most rewarding experience.
