I joined Memorial Sloan Kettering as the Clinical Program Manager for the Blood and Marrow Transplant Service in 2009, after five years as an oncology nurse and three years as a transplant coordinator. Throughout my years in oncology I have had the privilege of caring for many people diagnosed with cancer. Currently I am responsible for monitoring and implementing performance improvement projects to support the best possible delivery of care to our patients. I also manage the activities of the clinical program to ensure that we are in compliance with regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements, and coordinate the efforts of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Service’s quality management initiatives by facilitating regular audits, reporting to appropriate hospital divisions, and working with quality assessment and data management experts for all transplant services.
