I joined Memorial Sloan Kettering as an oncology nurse in 2005 and became a nurse practitioner in 2011. I have had the opportunity to become proficient in the care of many different oncology patient populations, including people undergoing head and neck surgery, thoracic surgery,  and most recently, caring for people  with hematologic malignancies.

As a nurse practitioner I work closely with the multidisciplinary medical team and manage all aspects of care for the hospitalized patient, from admissions to chemotherapy orders, symptom management, and evaluation of laboratory and radiological testing. I find it greatly rewarding, and a privilege, to work with the oncology patient population and be part of their lives while they are going through some of their toughest times.
