The Monday May 18 edition of “MSK Science Spotlight” will feature Marcel van den Brink, MD, PhD, who will discuss “The Role of the Intestinal Microbiome in Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation.” Dr. van den Brink, Head of the Division of Hematologic Malignancies, and a newly elected member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, is a luminary in the study of the immunology of bone marrow transplantation with a particular focus on intestinal microbiome and strategies to enhance thymus and immune reconstitution.
