MSK Kids has multiple clinical trials assessing new therapies for osteosarcoma. One of them is looking at a treatment that boosts the power of the immune system against osteosarcoma that has spread. This immunotherapy has helped children with a cancer called neuroblastoma. It is our hope that it can benefit children with osteosarcoma, too.
Your child’s care team will let you know if your child can participate in a clinical trial. The decision to enroll is entirely voluntary. The study team will explain the benefits and risks of the study to you so you can make an informed decision.
