The mission of the Cell Therapy Core is to develop, validate, and supply cell-based experimental products for phase 1 and 2 clinical trials so that investigators can evaluate their safety and potential clinical benefit. In 2014, the BT Core moved to the state-of-the-art, current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)- capable- Cell Therapy and Cell Engineering Facility (CTCEF), located adjacent to the hospital in the Zuckerman II building.
