Caroline Salafia

Cali is a predoctoral research fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Hay and Dr. Hamilton with the Genomics, Risk, and Health Decision-Making Lab. She is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Connecticut and is a graduate research assistant for UConn’s Cancer Survivorship Research Program. Her research interests relate to psychosocial factors and adjustment to chronic illness for both patients and their families. More specifically, Cali is interested in medical decision-making and communication surrounding cancer risk and treatment. Outside of work, Cali likes to watch documentaries, listen to podcasts, and spend time with her loved ones and pets.
