Jennifer Bowers

Dr. Jennifer Bowers received her MPH degree from the Yale School of Public Health as part of her postdoctoral fellowship in the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program. Her research interests broadly focus on psychosocial factors of cancer-related health behavior. Much of her work has specifically examined skin cancer risk behaviors and cognitions in young adults, such as indoor and outdoor tanning, risk perceptions, and social norms. Jen was previously a pre-doctoral research fellow, completing her PhD in Social and Health Psychology at Stony Brook University, in the Genomics, Risk, and Health Decision-Making Lab.
